My Small Help’s vision is to provide immediate assistance to people in need whilst getting your Microsoft account safe, make it easier to recover if it's compromised and strengthen it against attacks. Note. If you are having a password or security code problem, try these links: I forgot my password. I need to change my password and lots more.
am blocked from adding to a previous thread so I'll start a new one.
I have had different versions of Outlook, different virus security software bundles, not one of those factors matter. It isn't Outlook, and it isn't my PC. This is a Cox Email Sending and Receiving Problems. I reached a reasonable level II tech support individual who confessed as much but recently I cannot get beyond the level I techs to type out this issue.
I have changed passwords on all of my devices to complicated passwords and easier ones. It does not fix it. I have improved the Time Out time. We pointed in another server when Cox altered servers. I have tried everything!
The issue is here now and remains for months, then inexplicably goes off. Just to return in a different form.
I've been a loyal Cox client for quite a very long time - net, TV and phone and I am about at my wit's end. If we do not get this solved soon, I'll take my business elsewhere.
I really don't bother calling Support relating to this since they often blame Outlook and do nothing. It is not an Outlook issue... .Then this unexpected problem pops twice or once annually, so many other clients are reporting. And as stated by other clients, Cox marginally admits they understand this issue with email, and it has been kicked upstairs to get a harder appearance.
In years past I have reset my Outlook configurations to the Cox mails, tried different configurations and interfaces in line with the Cox email service docs, and also deleted my Cox email accounts profiles inside Outlook and recreated them (if they had been corrupt ). Nothing has ever worked.
This frequently occurs, so please Cox....don't ask the typical questions about using Webmail, attempting another pc, etc. We all know, and you know this a persistent, recurring problem using Cox email accounts for several years, and these hints do not work or mend anything.
